So I’ve been a vegetarian for (oh crap!) eighteen years now. Just a plain old, lacto-ovo, golden retriever of meat free eating vegetarian. I relish eating eggs and cheese, butter and cream. I consider all of those rich and creamy wonderlands to be a great pleasure in life.
This being said, I’m just going to put it out there on the table: I definitely will never be a vegan, especially when it comes to baked goods. I’ve never really been thrilled with vegan baked goods. I don’t have a yen for anything baked without eggs. To me, vegan baked goods are just… okay. Like good enough to chew on, but not really spectacular. Read the rest of this entry »
